INNISFIL, Ontario —- Although it was a division fans are not used to seeing at Sunset Speedway, a familiar face emerged in victory lane in both feature events as Lane Zardo swept the features for the Street Stocks as part of The Last Dance.
The final practice set the starting grid for the first feature, putting Zardo on pole. He took full advantage of the track position in leading all the laps en route to picking up the victory. Luke Bos picked up the runner-up with a late-race pass on Mark King, Andrea Clarke, and Jake Pardy.
Drew Richardson was sixth in front of Zach Sprung, who restarted tail of the field with three laps to go after spinning Kevin Findley in turn two. Findley crossed the finish line in eighth ahead of Jim Ferrier, Greg Duncan and Ace Uhrig.
Lane Zardo kept the clinic going into the second feature, leading all the laps en route to picking up the victory. Jake Pardy came back from an early race spin to drive his way through the field for a runner-up ahead of Mark King, Luke Bos, and Kevin Findley.
Drew Richardson made it a pair of top-10’s on the day with a sixth in front of Andrea Clarke, Jim Ferrier, Ace Uhrig, and Nathan Dettweiler.
