INNISFIL, Ontario — He may be a regular at Sauble Speedway, but it was Sunset Speedway that he got to call himself a feature winner for the first time by winning the Bone Stock First Timers event on Friday night.

Tanner Holmes was second ahead of Sam Moore, who came back for a podium after having issues in his qualifying heat. Matt Campbell was fourth in front of Full Throttle Motor Speedway regular Eric McLean.

2025 Sunset Speedway Bone Stock Champion Steve Oakes was sixth ahead of Pat Schmidt, Glenn Schmidt, Ken Brown, and Kody Cook.

The full field of 27 cars had a couple cautions throughout the event, including a race ending incident on Lap 5 with Jesse Brown and Mike Balson in turns one and two.

Savannah Findlay won her qualifying heat, but went for a spin with three laps to go in turn two. She was credited with a 15th-place finish.
