INNISFIL, Ontario — In a race meant to feature an array of feature winners, from children to adults, Josh Davenport proved why he has been the driver to watch this season by winning the Big Dog Invitational at Sunset Speedway.
Davenport wasted no time finding his way to the lead, putting the three-wide move to work in the early stages to take over the top spot and cruise away from the competition for the checkered flag. He was joined by a pair of fellow young competitors in Wyatt Sprung and Ronnie Mason on the podium.
2025 Mini Stock Champion Doug Butler found his groove in the Jr Late Model mid-race, crossing the finish line in fourth ahead of fellow Mini Stock competitor Chris Allard.
Hudson Sellers made the trek from Peterborough Speedway for sixth in front of Super Stock competitor Coltin Everingham, who rebounded from a spin. Landon Styruk, Robbie, and Curtis Struyk completed the field.
