INNISFIL, Ontario — After being offered a ride courtesy of Tyler Liscum, the opportunity was made the most of by T.J. Edwards as he dominated the Modified feature on Saturday, August 23 at Sunset Speedway.

Edwards topped the speed charts in qualifying with a lap of 14.803 seconds to give him the pole for the 30-lap feature. From there on, he did not look back en route to capturing the checkered flag.

Brent McLean scored a runner-up finish in his first appearance at Sunset Speedway of the season ahead of Wally Wilson, Amanda Balson, and Josh Gruntz.

Matt Haufe’s rookie campaign continued with a sixth in front of Andrew Massey, Bob Franks. Darin Malcolm and Drew Stieler.

Luke Gignac and Tyler Bouillon both failed to finish after mechanical gremlins.
