SAUBLE BEACH, Ontario — After a couple laps side-by-side, Jason Keen proved to be untouchable en route to a dominating performance in the Overkill Enterprises OSCAAR Modified feature at Sauble Speedway.
Keen found himself on the pole for the 40-lap feature after a solid qualifying effort, and took advantage of the track position. After battling side-by-side with Wally Wilson for the first couple laps, Keen took over the top spot on Lap 3. From there on, he was able to hold a healthy advantage over his competition, getting a strong restart at the mid-race caution to maintain the advantage en route to his second feature win of 2025.
Dale Reinhart made a couple passes early to put himself into the second position, but was never able to close the gap between himself and Keen to take a chance at the lead. Steve Trendell backed up his win at Peterborough with a third to maintain the points lead.
Ryan Dick and Brent McLean completed the top-five ahead of Steve McCaw and Wally Wilson.
Luke Gignac pulled off with issues with six laps complete.
Steve Trendell now holds an eight-point advantage going into the series’ final points event of the season, which takes place at Delaware Speedway on Saturday, September 27.
