SAUBLE BEACH, Ontario — Ensuring he was at the front of each of the three 20-lap features, Jade Franklin was victorious in the Sauble Legend Shootout on Saturday at Sauble Speedway.

Jade Franklin parlayed a strong qualifying effort into dominating the opening feature, before a conservative cut through traffic led him to fifth in the second feature. The last feature, though, he wasted no time in getting his way to the front to take over the top spot. He then led 25 laps en route to scoring the overall victory.

Joe Adams scored a trio of top-fives with a second, fourth and third to get credited with second overall. Andy Kamrath rounded out the podium after picking up a pair of third-place finishes and a fourth to cap it off.

The second feature went to Kenny McNicol, wbo took advantage of the track position following a seventh in the first feature. He capped his three features off by placing 11th in the final 20-lap affair.

The features ran clean throughout, except for the third feature which saw a couple cautions as a result of contact mid-pack.
