INNISFIL, Ontario — In a battle of a foursome of division heavyweights, Tyler Hawn came out on top to score the victory in the feature on Sunday, August 3 at Sunset Speedway.

While there were battles throughout the field, all eyes were on the front in watching the No. 2 Beaumont lead the charge. Although there were a couple challengers, Tyler Hawn kept himself out in front of the field en route to picking up the checkered flag.

Dan Archibald out-battled Jason Parker for third as they went back and forth throughout the event ahead of Tom Walters and Jamie Cairns.

Mark Gordon’s first weekend in a Hot Rod at Sunset saw him pick up a sixth-place finish in front of Josh Berry, Luke Gignac, and Ben McPherson. Mark Dilley and Paul Bogesnberger Jr. both suffered mechanical failures to end their nights early.
