INNISFIL, Ontario — Taking the lead just before halfway, Wally Wilson dominated en route to winning the Modified feature on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway.

Wilson found himself starting deeper in the field than he has been used to following a sixth-place qualifying effort. That did not stop the current points leader, as he weaved his way through traffic, taking the lead on Lap 13. He then led the rest of the way en route to victory lane.

Steve Trendell was second in his first appearance of the season ahead of Amanda Balson, who had to rebound back to the top-five after being sent to the tail of the field following contact. Josh Gruntz and Luke Gignac completed the top-five.

A.J. Emms rebounded from a spin for sixth ahead of Matt Haufe, Tyler Bouillon, Andrew Massey, and Bob Franks.
