Delaware Speedway Announces Details of The Biggest Ever Great Canadian Race Weekend
LONDON, ON – The 44th Annual Great Canadian Race Weekend on September 26th and 27th, 2025 at Delaware Speedway is one of Canada’s longest running, most sought after race event wins that has a rich history with an incredible list of winners from Canada and the USA including Biederman, Hanley, Ross, Robblee, Leslie, Gibbons and Fitzpatrick with Biederman winning the inaugural event in 1981. This years Great Canadian Race weekend will feature the Castrol 300 for the APC Late Model Series and for the first time, the Great Canadian Race Prelude that will feature the Dayco Super Stock Series will be the biggest yet.
Delaware Speedway is super excited to announce the Great Canadian Race Prelude that will feature 50 laps for the Dayco Super Stock Series that will have a $20,000 purse on Friday September 26th paying $5000.00 to win and $350.00 to start. The Castrol 300 on September 27th will have a record purse of over $90,000.00, paying $15,000.00 to win and $2,000.00 to start for the Championship race of the APC Late Model Series where the NTN Triple Crown champion will also be crowned. That is not it, any driver that wins both the Prelude and the Great Canadian Race will receive a $10,000.00 bonus! Also, there will be 3 other Championships decided over the weekend with the Delaware V8 Stocks on Friday night and Saturday September 27th will see the United Racing Series/OSCAAR Modifieds and Hot Rods crown their Champions. These three divisions are never short of close exciting competition.
