INNISFIL, Ontario — For the second straight year in a row, James Houghton is the king of the hilltop as he won the Hilltop Nationals at Sunset Speedway this past weekend.
Houghton proved to be fast, quickly making his way to the front by Lap 10, pacing the remaining 40 laps en route to winning the event. Flamboro Speedway regular Matt Young battled his way forward for second ahead of Jay Cutting, Mike Etsell, and Brady Cox.
Chance Rogers proved to be fast on the road with a sixth in front of Matt McGrath, Calvin Reesor, 67c, and Steve Oakes.
Braiden Zammit was 11th, followed by Austin Etsell, the 6, Ben McPherson, Ryan Booth, Mike Balson, the 08, Austyn Jennett, Jack Bird, and Karlie Wilman. Aidan Harper and Nick Tooley completed the field.
Kris Khan was disqualified in post-race inspection.
