DURHAM, Ontario — Running up front and staying out of trouble was the key to success for Rob Bromley at Full Throttle Motor Speedway en route to winning the OSCAAR Hot Rod feature.
After avoiding a couple incidents in qualifying, Bromley kept his nose clean and was able to run inside the top-three throughout the 30-lap feature en route to capturing the victory.
Steve Book battled with him for a series of laps, but came up short with a runner-up finish. Tyler Hawn rounded out the podium in front of FTMS regulars Cole Weber and Drew Richardson.
Thomas Wunsch rebounded after contact at the beginning of his second qualifier for sixth ahead of Delaware Speedway race winner Dalen Martin. Lyle Horene was eighth in his series debut, with Brian Wilson Jr. rounding out the field.
Heat wins went to Brian Wilson Jr., Cole Weber (x2), and Rob Bromley.
The OSCAAR Hot Rods are back in action at Peterborough Speedway on Saturday, July 26.
