INNISFIL, Ontario — Taking the lead with 10 laps to go, Jordan Howse scored the victory in the 100-lap Late Model feature at Sunset Speedway on July 5.

Howse showed his speed in qualifying with laying down the quickest lap, and backed it up by keeping himself up front throughout the entire event. He kept within striking distance of the leader, making his first attempt at the lead with 30 laps to go. He then made another attempt with 10 laps to go, and succeeded, taking over the top spot. Howse paced the rest of the laps en route to winning.

Gord Shepherd held on for second ahead of Shaw Motorsports teammates Dale Shaw and Erik Dalla Riva. Gerrit Tiemersma completed the top-five.

Taylor Holdaway, Jacob Mercer and Paul Maltese rounded out the field.
