Johnny Morrison Drives to Super Stock Victory Lane at Sunset Speedway

INNISFIL, Ontario — Starting mid-pack did not faze Johnny Morrison, as he made his way through the traffic to score the victory in the Super Stock feature at Sunset Speedway.

Starting in the third row, Morrison bided his time as he made his way up through the field, taking over the runner-up spot on Lap 11. He then tracked down the race leader Coltin Everingham, getting alongside as the pair battled for a couple laps. Once Morrison put the No. 83 out front on Lap 25, that was all she wrote as he led the final five laps en route to victory.

Everingham crossed the finish line in second, with early race leader Connor Maltese in third. Jacob Booth and Bailey Jacobs completed the top-five.

Cole Burrows was sixth ahead of Miles Tyson, with Paul Pepper rounding out the field after pulling off with seven laps to go due to ill-handling issues.
