PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — Jake Spencer-Walt kept the consistency going with the Ontario Legend Series at Peterborough Speedway, scoring a top-10 finish.
He started off the night well by pacing the opening four laps of the first heat, crossing the finish line with a second-place finish. He then backed it up with a sixth in the second qualifier.
The strong effort allowed him to start inside the top-10 for the feature, battling his way forward throughout the 25-lap distance. He narrowly escaped a couple incidents ahead of him and kept his nose out of trouble while gaining ground to cross the finish line with a sixth-place finish.
The sixth-place finish follows his great start to the season which has featured three top-10’s in four Ontario Legend Series races, as well as a pair of top-five’s in action at Sauble Speedway.
