INNISFIL, Ontario — Making an attempt to take the Bone Stock and run it in the Allan Lankin Cup Mini Stock special unfortunately did not go as planned for Austyn Jennett and SKLD Motorsports on Saturday at Sunset Speedway.

The second practice session would set the starting grid for the first of three features as part of the event, with Jennett laying down a lap of 17.331 seconds to place him 13th on the starting grid.

Taking the green flag in the seventh row, Jennett looked to make his way forward in the early stages, while staying out of trouble throughout the 25-lap feature. He crossed the finish line with a 14th-place finish.

Unfortunately, the SKLD Motorsports team discovered a motor issue following the event, preventing them from running the next two features.
