Rob Bromley Scores Victory in Hot Rod Feature at Sunset Speedway

INNISFIL, Ontario — Starting on the front row, Rob Bromley did not look back en route to picking up the victory in the Hot Rod feature at Sunset Speedway.

Capturing the victory in his qualifying heat earlier in the day, Bromley would start the event on the pole and grabbed the initial advantage off the drop of the green flag. Despite an early caution for contact behind him, he was able to hold off a challenge from Tyler Hawn on the restart and drive away from the field en route to the victory.

Tyler Hawn kept the momentum rolling after his win a couple weeks ago with a runner-up, with Tom Walters completing the podium. Dan Archibald made his way through the field after being involved in the Lap 2 incident for fourth ahead of Paul Bogensberger Jr.

Luke Gignac was sixth in front of Ben McPherson and Jim Blackwell.

Josh Berry and Tyler Ecker saw their races end as a result of damage sustained in the Lap 2 incident that took place in turns three and four. Berry and Archibald came together battling for third, with Ecker and Gignac getting together as they tried to avoid the incident ahead.

Heat wins went to Rob Bromley and Tyler Hawn.
