INNISFIL, Ontario — As the Mini Stocks return after having a couple weeks off, a familiar face was in victory lane at the end of Saturday’s feature at Sunset Speedway.

Jacob Sutcliffe started up front, and did not look back as he led all 30 laps en route to scoring the victory. It marks a solid start to the year following a third-place finish on opening night.

Ryder White, who won the season opener, made a couple late race passes for the runner-up finish, while Wyatt Sutcliffe came away with third following a hard fought back-and-forth battle with Cameron McGlashan throughout the event. Coleridge Phinnemore completed the top-five.

Jason D’Antimo was sixth in front of Chris Allard, Curtis Burnett, Aundrea Lusk, and Chandler Bos. Bos had been fighting for a top-five until contact with Allard in turns one and two.

Eric Rainey was 11th, followed by Bob Phinnemore, Madisson Tienkamp, Kris Inglis, the 34, the 14, and Peter Wakeling.
