PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — The strong start to the Ontario Legend Series season continued for Jake Spencer-Walt at Peterborough Speedway, including a couple new experiences.

Taking the green flag third in his heat, Spencer-Walt was able to make quickly make his way forward to the front of the field. He then led the rest of the way en route to scoring his first career Legend heat victory. He then backed it up with another solid performance in the second qualifier.

Starting in the back half of the top-10 for the feature, Spencer-Walt battled through the 30 laps and avoided the chaos that ensued, and was able to come home with an eighth-place finish. It marks his second top-10 in three races after a ninth at Sunset Speedway.
