PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — It may be a new season for the Outlaw Midgets, but a familiar result took place on Saturday night at Peterborough Speedway.

Mike Bradley found a way to seemingly master the series’ new format of racing for the season by winning both events that took place. He opened the night by winning the qualifying feature, gaining an advantage in the early stages of the event and spreading that as the laps mounted on the scoreboard.

He utilised the strong qualifying finish to put himself in a good spot for the main event, wasting no time in working his way up to the runner-up spot. He took advantage when a late-race caution came out, out-battling his competition to get ahead and cross the finish line in the first spot.

Bradley will hope to carry the momentum to the series’ next event at Full Throttle Motor Speedway on Saturday, June 14.
