INNISFIL, Ontario — Battling at the front of the field, Austyn Jennett led SKLD Motorsports to their first victory of the 2025 campaign this past weekend at Sunset Speedway.

Starting inside the top-four, Jennett found himself in a four-way battle for the top spot from the drop of the green flag. He would able to take over third, before finding his way into the runner-up spot. He then got alongside the leader, completing the pass on Lap 14, and then drove away from the competition en route to scoring his first win of 2025.

For Jennett, the victory adds to the stellar start of the season following a trio of runner-up finishes in the first three races.

Matt McGrath battled up front in his qualifying heat, backing it up with a solid sixth in the feature to rebound from mechanical issues a week ago. Karlie Wilman battled through some gremlins to complete the top-10, once again allowing SKLD Motorsports to score a trio of top-10’s for the second time in 2025.

The SKLD Motorsports team will be back at Sunset Speedway on Saturday, May 31.
