INNISFIL, Ontario — Battling amongst the best in the business throughout both features, Jake Spencer-Walt scored a top-10 in the season opener for the Ontario Legend Series at Sunset Speedway.

Spencer-Walt began the night showing speed in qualifying with a lap of 15.753 seconds, placing him seventh on the board.

He took advantage of the early track position, battling inside the top-10 for the first half of the feature, running as high as sixth. Unfortunately, he dropped back a couple spots in the late stages of the 30-lap event, crossing the finish line in 11th.

The second feature saw him run inside the top-10 throughout, battling back and forth during the 30 lap event. He crossed the finish line with a ninth-place finish.
