Keegan Moat and Josh Davenport Split Bandolero Features at Sunset Speedway

INNISFIL, Ontario — In the inaugural appearance for the Bandoleros at Sunset Speedway, a pair of Sunset Speedway Jr Late Model Champions reigned supreme.

Keegan Moat dominated the first of the two 15-lap features, holding serve ahead of the field off of the front row in a caution-filled event with several single car spins as drivers got used to the new track and car combination. Austin Seburn battled his way to a second-place finish while Lyla Sikma rebounded to complete the podium.

Jase Millson and the 21 rounded out the top-five, ahead of Landon Sellers, Josh Davenport, and Ava Boundy.

The second feature went much smoother, and drew the attention of all the fans in attendance with a battle for the lead between Davenport and Moat. The pair found themselves side-by-side for the final six laps in succession, each grabbing the edge as they went across the line.

Josh Davenport ultimately edged out Keegan Moat by 0.011 seconds for the victory with Austin Seburn in third ahead of Jase Millson and Ava Boundy. Lyla Sikma was sixth in front of the 21 and Landon Sellers.

Luke Cubertson did not get to start either event as a result of a wreck in practice.
