10 Years Later, Glenn Styres Returns to Ohsweken Speedway Victory Lane

OHSWEKEN, Ontario — With the race track being right in his backyard, you would have thought that Glenn Styres and victory lane would be best friends. However, that has not been the case despite the dirt track veteran having run a slew of different cars over the years.

Behind the wheel of a Dirt Late Model for the first time, Styres made it happen as he dominated in his Longhorn Chassis en route to picking up the victory. The driver of the No. 0 had not found himself in the track’s victory lane since 2015.

Brandon Mowat made charge in the late stages en route to a second-place finish ahead of John McIntyre. Brian Speelman (pictured right) ran inside the top-three throughout, but faded back to fourth, with Cody VanDeWynckel completing the top-five.

Mike Lewis was sixth ahead of Gregg Haskell, Greg Belyea, Jim Dale Jr., and Brandt Graham.

Heat wins went to Styres and CJ Field.
