Calvin Reesor Victorious in Bone Stock Season Opener at Sunset Speedway

Driving with determination behind the wheel all night long, Calvin Reesor was not to be denied en route to winning the season opening feature for the Bone Stocks at Sunset Speedway.

Reesor showed his ability right from the start of the night, making a daring three-wide move through traffic on the last lap to go third to first and pick up the heat win. The victory set him up well for the feature, which he took advantage of quickly. He slotted himself into second, remaining there until the checkered flag was waved. He was credited with the win after a car was disqualified post-race.

Austyn Jennett ended last season fast, and carried the speed into 2025 with a runner-up after a close battle with Jack Bird and Steve Oakes through the final laps of the event. Chris Allard rebounded to complete the top-five after early race contact.

Dustin Johnston led his “Duncan Racing & Offroad” teammates across the finish line in sixth ahead of Matt McGrath, Jeff Rumble, Sera Giannone, and Karlie Wilman.

The feature began with a pair of cautions, as Hailey Harper spun Josh Crawford on Lap 1, followed a spin by Jason Melson on the following restart. Of note, Jordan Owen showed speed in the early laps, but finished several laps down after having to pit with a flat tire due to contact with Allard.

Heat wins went to Chris Allard and Calvin Reesor.
