Coltin Everingham Dominates Super Stock Season Opener at Sunset Speedway

The hard work has paid off for Coltin Everingham as he was able to return to feature victory lane for the first time in six years at Sunset Speedway.

The past division champion put himself at the front of the field following qualifying, finding himself locked in an early-race battle for the top spot with Johnny Morrison. The pair went back and forth through the opening laps, before Everingham was able to seize the advantage. From there, he drove away from the field en route to picking up the victory.

Last year’s track champion Miles Tyson charged his way from the back en route to a second-place finish after a thrilling three-wide battle with Bailey Jacobs and Paul Pepper in the closing stages. Connor Maltese completed the top-five.

Heat victories went to Jacob Booth and Miles Tyson.
