Mechanical Gremlins Result in Disappointing ACC for Boundy Racing

PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — Despite both Paul and Ava Boundy showing speed at Peterborough Speedway, their Autumn Colours Classic did not go as planned.

Paul Boundy kicked off his weekend by placing sixth in the first qualifier for the Super Stocks. He then backed it up with a runner-up in the second heat, setting him up well for the feature.

Taking the green flag in the middle of the pack, Boundy looked to climb his way forward in search of the top-five. He’d move his way up to sixth by Lap 5, but ultimatley slowed three laps later with issues. He would be forced to the infield on Lap 10, ending his ACC with a 12th-place finish.

Ava Boundy showed speed in the Bandolero main event, working her way forward to the lead with just six laps on the board. Just as she got into a rhythm pacing the field, she was forced down pit road with mechanical gremlins, ending her feature early. She was credited with a fourth-place finish.

Paul Boundy is proud to be supported throughout the 2024 campaign by Circa 1818, Alma Mechanical, Port Perry Salvage, Mark Rainford AutoCentre, Rona Cobourg, Wheelhouse 10, Signworks, Krown Whitby, Cobourg East Camp Ground, and Orono Country Cafe.

Ava Boundy is proud to be supported by Volt Raceway.
