PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — Starting on the pole, Lane Zardo led flag-to-flag en route to winning the Super Stock Autumn Colours Classic feature at Peterborough Speedway.
A strong qualifying effort including a heat win allowed Lane Zardo to start on the front row, and from there on maintain a healthy gap over the field through the 50 lap distance. The battle for second caught everyone’s attention with Shawn Chenoweth edging out Daniel Hawn for the spot.
Todd Davenport and Coltin Everingham rounded out the top-five ahead of Mark Gordon, Jacob Booth, Paul Pepper, Cole Burrows, and Kyle Gordon. Pepper had to make an early pit stop as a result of a flat tire due to contact.
Rob Richards was 11th in front of Marlie Owen, Johnny Morrison, Paul Boundy, Dylan Wills, and Herb Walters. Morrison made significant contact with the turn one wall after an apparent issue.
