Mitch Wright Puts Dominating Cap on Ontario Legend Car Series Season

PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — Mitch Wright put the icing on the cake at Peterborough Speedway this month, capping off his Ontario Legend Car Series Championship campaign with an Autumn Colours Classic victory.

Mitch Wright ran up front from the drop of the green flag, taking over the lead on an early race restart and then paced the remaining laps en route to picking up the checkered flag. Wes Cuthbertson was the runner-up while Jade Franklin completed the podium despite going for an early spin in turn three.

Cole McFadden and Jordan Latimer were fourth and fifth, followed by Dawson Drimmie, Matt Boyes, Zach Latimer, Austin Arnel, and Caleb Drimmie. Arnel was crowned the 2024 Great Lakes Legend Car Series Champion.

The event featured a couple caution flags for single car spins, as well as an incident in the opening laps on the frontstretch involving Jake Spencer-Walt.

Heat wins went to Dawson Drimmie, Wes Cuthbertson, Jordan Latimer, and Mitch Wright.

Keaton Pipe picked up the checkered flag in the Non-Winners event on Friday night of ACC.
