PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — Jo Lawrence proved to be the man to beat in the playoffs, picking up the Autumn Colours Classic Bone Stock victory at Peterborough Speedway.
Jo Lawrence was fast in qualifying with a second and a runner-up, allowing him to start on the outside of the front row. He’d take the lead on Lap 30, pacing the final 10 laps en route to victory. Phil Givens, who won both his qualifying heats, paced the first 30 laps en route to second.
Spencer Riddell picked up a hard fought third-place finish after a lengthy battle with Austyn Jennett, while B-Main winner Jordan Wilms and Craig Cole completed the top-five. Jennett fell back to sixth on the late-race restart ahead of Calvin Reesor, who rebounded after being disqualified in his qualifying heat. Dustin Johnston, Shawn Solomon, and Cam Thomsom finished off the top-10.
Peterborough Speedway regular Teagan Stanley was 11th in front of Brady Cox, Leo Labarbera, Christen Lavalle, Alexis Melhuish, Pat Farrow, Mike Balson, Scott Jacobs, Austin Hunt, and Courtney Scott.
Kyle Johnson was 21st ahead of Dallas Kellar, Zachary Chang, Nick Clarke, Victoria MeLenon, Glenn Schmidt, and Rodney Rutherford.
