PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — Starting at the front of the field, John Baker Jr. took the lead on Lap 4 and paced the rest of the event en route to winning the Autumn Colours Classic. The victory was the icing on the cake, as he took home the 2024 Ontario Modified Racing Series Championship.

Robert Warnes took the initial advantage off the the drop of the green flag, but it would not last long. Once Baker Jr. was clear of traffic behind him, he tracked down Warnes and passed him on Lap 4.

A quick caution on Lap 7 set up a restart, but that did not faze the multi-time modified champion as John Baker Jr. held off the challenge en route to winning.

Alex Cuzzilla picked up a runner-up finish in his last start before selling the car, with Robert Warnes slipping back to third at the checkered.

Rick Warnes and Tyler Bouillon completed the top-five, with Andrew Massey and Ethan Thompson rounding out the field.

Heat wins went to John Baker Jr. and Tyler Bouillon.
