PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — A pair of drivers known for winning races in other divisions were able to capture checkered flags in the non-winners events for the Super Stocks and the Mini Stocks at Peterborough Speedway last weekend.
The non-winners event is set to include any driver that has not won a feature in the past calendar year.
Jumping behind the wheel of the No. 89c normally driven by Shawn Chenoweth, it was a dominating performance for Andy Kamrath en route to picking up the coveted trophy for winning the event. Defending race winner Daniel Hawn finished second ahead of Cole Burrows, Johnny Morrison, and Dylan Wills.
The Mini Stock division saw Pure Stock stand out Phil Givens strap behind the wheel of the No. 7 normally driven by Matt Young, and pace the second half of the event after taking the lead on Lap 8. Ryan Babin started at the tail of the field, making his way through traffic for second ahead of Bob Stewart, Roland Goodfellow, and Dave Dippel.
Ryder White scored a sixth-place finish in front of Curtis Burnett, Alex Stewart, Kris Inglis, and Madisson Tienkamp.
