INNISFIL, Ontario —It was a battle that captured the attention of every fan in attendance, but it was worth it in seeing Mini Stock veterans Doug Butler and Shawn Taylor do battle.
Ultimately, it was Doug Butler holding off every challenge and bump Shawn Taylor gave him en route to winning the Fall Velocity feature on Sunday at Sunset Speedway.
Cameron McGlashan capped off his solid season with a third ahead of Jacob Sutcliffe and Mike Robinson III. Robinson had to drive his way back through the field after an incident in the opening laps with Chris Cunnington.
Ryder White’s return to Sunset produced a sixth in front of Johnny Paradzinski, Wyatt Sutcliffe, Chris Tubman, and Blaise Shaw. Shaw led the opening laps, and ran up front inside the top-three until an unscheduled trip down pit road for the car overheating.
