INNISFIL, Ontario — It was a battle that went right down to the last lap coming to the checkered flag, but Amanda Balson held off Tom Walters to win not only the Hot Rod feature on Saturday night, but the Sunset Speedway Hot Rod Championship.

Herb Walters drove his way back up to a third-place finish despite being sent for a spin with eight laps to go, while Dan Archibald crossed the finish line in fourth after battling for the lead throughout the first half of the feature. Drew Robertson rounded out the top-five.

Dalen Martin was sixth ahead of Dan Rothwell, Jamie Cairns, Thomas Dunn, and Jay Cutting. Jim Blackwell was 11th, while Rob Bromley finished 12th after being spun with two to go by Dunn. Tyler Hawn rounded out the field after heading into the pits with mechanical issues on Lap 14.
