Miles Tyson Makes Late Race Pass for Super Stock Victory at Sunset Speedway

INNISFIL, Ontario — It came down to the last couple of laps, but when it was over, it would be Miles Tyson visiting victory lane in the Super Stock feature at Sunset Speedway.

Daniel Hawn grabbed the initial advantage off of the pole, and looked set to cruise to his first career victory in the division. Though as the laps ticked down in the second half, the gap between him and Tyson began to get smaller as Tyson reeled him in. Tyson would make his move with two laps to go, with contact between the pair in turns three and four as they battled for the top spot.

Miles Tyson was able to clear by for the top spot, pacing the final two laps en route to scoring the victory, and extending his advantage atop of the season standings. Daniel Hawn crossed the line in second ahead of Bailey Jacobs, Johnny Morrison, and Paul Pepper.

Cole Burrows, who picked up his first Super Stock heat win of the season earlier in the night, picked up a sixth-place finish in front of Coltin Everingham, Jacob Booth, Connor Maltese, Roy Wilkie, Matt McGrath, and Dennis Cybalski.

Burrows and Morrison picked up the heat qualifying victories on the night.
