PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — Making just her second career Bandolero start, Ava Boundy ran up front en route to her first career podium performance.

After a fourth in her qualifying heat, Boundy would start up front for the 12 lap feature, running in the runner-up spot for the first half of the event. She would drop back to fourth just halfway, but was able to battle back to cross the finish line in third. It marks her third career top-five after placing fourth and fifth on the opening night of competition.

Boundy Racing is back in action at Peterborough Speedway, with Paul Boundy behind the wheel of the super stock on Saturday, August 24. Boundy currently ranks fourth in the standings, 19 points behind the leader.
