INNISFIL, Ontario — Starting on the pole, Cameron McGlashan led flag-to-flag en route to winning the Mini Stock feature on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway.
McGlashan was fast throughout the event, holding a strong advantage throughout the feature. He would be challenged in the late stages with Shawn Taylor closing the gap, but he was unable to find a way by as McGlashan parked it in victory lane.
Jacob Sutcliffe kept a good stranglehold on the points lead with a third-place finish ahead of Coleridge Phinnemore and Blaise Shaw.
Madisson Tienkamp put together a strong run en route to sixth in front of Peter Wakeling, Bob Phinnemore, Curtis Burnett, and Nate Yano.
There was a significant incident in the opening laps with John Bird coming across Shaw’s nose, resulting in Bird bouncing off the outside wall before contact from Aundrea Lusk ripped the front end out of his Honda.
