Rob Crick, Tegan Stanley, and Howie Crowe Kick Off August in Style

PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — While the pair of OSCAAR divisions were the talk of conversation on Saturday at Peterborough Speedway, the track’s own trio of divisions in action put on three great races.

Rob Crick led flag-to-flag to win the Mini Stock feature ahead of John Lavalle, Ember Junkin, Tyler Junkin, and Chris Tubman. Tyler McMurter worked his way forward for sixth in front of Mark Downer, Neil Bennett, Carol Dawson, and Dave Bragg. Kyle McCaughley and Todd Labadie each finished one-lap down, while Charlie Smith’s feature ended when his Honda caught fire on Lap 6.

Tegan Stanley charged his way forward in the Bone Stock feature, taking the lead with just a couple laps remaining to secure the victory ahead of Alex Dallaire, Sean Kennedy, John Bates, and Ang Novis. Notably, Kennedy broke in practice with the team trashing to ensure he was ready for qualifying action. Johnnie McIntyre was credited with sixth in front of Christen Lavalle, Kali Dearmer, Victoria McLennon, and Matt McMartin.

Paige Stevenson’s rookie campaign continued with an 11th-place finish, followed by Kyle Johnson. Chad Mascioli and Cory Horne saw their feature end early with contact on the frontstretch with three laps remaining.

Howie Crowe led flag-to-flag to win the Renegrade Truck feature ahead of Mark Gordon, Shawn Murray, Scott Jacobs, Jack Dallin, and Cory Horne.
