INNISFIL, Ontario — Starting on the pole, Kris Khan did not look back all feature long en route to picking up the feature victory on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway.
A strong qualifying effort highlighted by a trip to victory lane in his heat allowed Khan to start on the pole for the 20-lap feature. He did not give up the top spot from there, pacing the full feature en route to picking up the feature win.
Calvin Reesor turned his heat win and a strong starting spot into a runner-up, with Mike Robinson Sr. completing the podium as he filled in for Jordan Owen. Austyn Jennett saw his heat end early with mechanical woes, only to come out and pick up the win in the Rags to Riches Dash for Cash. He then drove his way from the back of the feature to a fourth-place result ahead of Josh Berry.
Jacob Booth filled in Chris Allard en route to sixth, in front of Jack Bird, Nathan Booth, Brandon Burnett, and Ben McPherson. Steve Oakes and Karlie Wilman battled to the line for 11th and 12th, with Matt McGrath placing 13th in front of Curtis Burnett.
