Boundy Racing Scores Trio of Top-Five’s at Peterborough Speedway

PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — Whether it was veteran Paul Boundy or rookie Ava Boundy behind the wheel, the Boundy Racing team came away with smiles on Saturday night at Peterborough Speedway.

Paul Boundy kicked off the night in a great way, parking the No. 08 Super Stock in victory lane in the make-up heat from a rainout earlier this season. He carried the momentum into the feature, running inside the top-three all race long despite the car tightening up throughout en route to a third-place finish.

He looked to keep the momentum going, placing third in the first heat race of the night. He then backed it up with a runner-up in the second qualifier. Unfortunately, curfew would see the feature not being ran and postponed to another night.

Ava Boundy made her Bandolero debut, running fourth for the majority of the event despite her first time racing around other cars. Ultimately, though, a last lap pass relegated her to a fifth-place finish. She carried the momentum into the second race, running fourth for the first half before fading back to fifth at the checkered flag.

Paul Boundy is proud to be supported throughout the 2024 campaign by Circa 1818, Alma Mechanical, Port Perry Salvage, Mark Rainford AutoCentre, Rona Cobourg, Wheelhouse 10, Signworks, Krown Whitby, Cobourg East Camp Ground, and Orono Country Cafe.

Ava Boundy is proud to be supported by Volt Raceway.
