After coming close to securing the win and losing out in a close battle at Spring Velocity, Josh Davenport got a victory to call his own this past Saturday night at Sunset Speedway.

The second generation racer showed he was the strongest driver in the field from green to checkered, finding his way into the lead on the opening lap and not looking back throughout the 15 laps that followed.

Keegan Moat attempted to mount a challenge at the halfway mark, but was unable to get by en route to picking up a runner-up finish. Jake Spencer-Walt scored a third in his return to the division filling in for Morgan Moore, ahead of Ethan Malin and Rylan Kamrath.

The 15-lap feature included a single caution for contact between Kamrath and Miya Ford.
