Jake Spencer-Walt Scores Top-10 at Sunset Speedway

INNISFIL, Ontario — Driving two different cars on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway, Jake Spencer-Walt scored a top-10 finish.

The multi-generation driver made his return to the Jr Late Model division, filling in for Morgan Moore and Shenanigan’s Motorsports. After shaking the car down in practice on Friday, he ran up front throughout the feature en route to a third-place finish.

He also drove his own No. 31 Mustang, picking up an eighth-place finish in his heat to send him to the b-main. He was able to find a bit more speed and work his way forward, crossing the finish line in third.

The qualifying effort saw him start deep in the feature, with him looking to make up the track position. He would look to make a couple passes, but ultimately was unable to move forward with a 13th-place finish.

This past Saturday night was a non-points event, but rather an invitational for the Mini Stock division. When it comes to the standings, Spencer-Walt is currently ranked third.

Spencer-Walt Motorsports is proud to be supported by Dunlop Billiards Sports Bar & Eatery, Epic Racewear, Rustic Edge designs by Joe, B&B General Contracting, G. D.
