Paul Boundy Finds Success in Both Super Stocks and Renegrade Trucks at Peterborough

Whether it was behind the wheel of his Super Stock, or his Renegrade Truck, Paul Boundy was able to put together solid results throughout the 2023 campaign at Peterborough Speedway.

“In the 2023 season, we had loads of fun, great times with my crew ,family and friends at the track,” he expressed. “On track, I struggled to find the confidence in my car to make moves that would put me up front but we pushed through and had some good results.”

With countless top-10 finishes, including some top-five’s along the way, Boundy was able to score a top-five finish in points behind the wheel of both. Being able to garner laps behind the wheel of both vehicles also proved pivotal for Boundy, as he feels the more laps he is able to complete, it allow him to become more comfortable not only as a driver, but with nailing the set-up necessary for success.

It also included having some awesome moments along the way, with heat victories in both vehicles.

“My favourite moment is when I win a race and I get to see the excitement on the faces of my family and friends who support me every week come down to victory lane,” he expressed.

As he begins to look ahead to the next season ahead, Boundy admits it begins with him as a driver continuing to improve behind the wheel.

“As a driver, I would like to improve on my aggressiveness to take more opportunities when they are in front of me,” he commented. “As for my crew, every day at the track is a learning curve and they seem to be able to adjust to change very well so I very happy with them.”

The new year could also bring a new opportunity within Boundy Racing, as the current focus is getting Paul’s daughter Ava behind the wheel of the Renegrade Truck for some races in 2024.
