Rick Spencer-Walt Scores Podium at Autumn Colours Classic

PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — Despite the season having some rough moments, the year ended off on a strong note for Spencer-Walt Motorsports, courtesy of a pair of solid runs at the Autumn Colours Classic.

Behind the wheel of the No. 6W Javelin owned by Rob Bromley, Rick Spencer-Walt laid down a lap of 14.464 seconds to qualify second for the feature. He would hang with the leader for the opening laps, including a bit of bumper tag, before ultimately fading back. He tried to make up the lost ground in the second half, though unable to en route to placing second.

Behind the wheel of the No. 99 Modified owned by ADAMS Motorsports, Spencer-Walt laid down a lap of 13.846 seconds to qualify sixth for the feature. From the drop of the green flag, he looked to make up ground, even trying to utilize a restart in the first half to challenge his competitors. Despite his efforts, he was unable to make his way up the running order, crossing the finish line in sixth.
