PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — Racing in two different divisions for the Autumn Colours Classic weekend, Rick Spencer-Walt showed speed in both the modified and hot rod at Peterborough Speedway.

Driving the No. 99 Modified owned by ADAMS Motorsports, Spencer-Walt turned a back row starting spot in the first heat to a fifth-place finish on Friday night. Then on Saturday afternoon, he was able to maintain the track position throughout and battle to a runner-up finish.

Driving the No. 6w AMC Javelin owned by Bromley Automotive, Spencer-Walt showed the same speed that led him to victory at Flamboro Speedway with a drive through the field to third in the first heat on Friday night. He then backed it up with a dominating qualifier victory on Saturday afternoon.

Unfortunately, both features were not run as scheduled on Sunday due to consistent rain falling. The event has been rescheduled to this Saturday, October 14.
