PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — Returning back behind the wheel this weekend, Todd Davenport showed he can still get the job done as he was the top qualifier in the Super Stock for Peterborough Speedway’s Autumn Colours Classic.
Lane Zardo dominated the first heat ahead of Todd Davenport, Dan Archibald, Ryden Lapcevich, Jacob Booth, Gerrit Tiemersma, Daniel Hawn, Cole Burrows, and Rob Richards.
Herb Walters won the second qualifier in front of Paul Pepper, Paul Boundy, Marlie Owen, Shaun McWhirter, Miles Tyson, Ethan Constable, Donovan Price, and Brad Lavalle.
Gerrit Tiemersma was victorious in the third heat followed by Davenport, Booth, Burrows, Archibald, Lapcevich, Hawn, and Richards. Zardo only completed five laps due to contact with Booth while battling for third in turn three.
Miles Tyson held off McWhirter to win the final qualifier ahead of Owen, Boundy, Pepper, and Lavalle. Constable did not complete any laps as a result of mechanical issues.
