PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — Despite being challenged all feature long, Rick Warnes held off the field to score his first career Ontario Modified Racing Series victory.

Alex Cuzzilla won the first heat ahead of Bob Franks, Tyler Bouillon, John Baker Jr., Rick Warnes, Shane Pollock, Robert Warnes, Andrew Massey, and Randy Hollingsworth.

John Baker Jr. was victorious in the second qualifier in front of Bouillon, Rick Warnes, Franks, Cuzilla, Massey, Pollock, Hollingsworth, and Robert Warnes.

Starting on the pole, Rick Warnes broke out to a commanding advantage ahead of the field, but quickly found his mirrors filled with orange and white. John Baker Jr. would attempt to get by him low and high off of each corner, but was unable to do so through the 25-lap feature.

Tyler Bouillon placed third ahead of Alex Cuzilla and Shane Pollock. Bob Franks was sixth in front of Randy Hollingsworth, and Robert Warnes.
