Ryder White Scores Victory in Mini Stock First Timers Race at Sunset Speedway

INNISFIL, Ontario — The continued improvement by Ryder White behind the wheel was on display on Friday night at Sunset Speedway, as he won the Mini Stock First Timers Event.

Ryder White won the first heat ahead of Coleridge Phinnemore, Curtis Stewart, Kyle D’Antimo, Madisson Tienkamp, and Jake Spencer-Walt. There was a quick caution for Spencer-Walt going around for a spin off of turn two.

Michael Robinson III was victorious in the second qualifier in front of Wyatt Sutcliffe, Tom Eckenwiller, Brady Cox, Terry Woodley, and Eric Rainey.

Coleridge Phinnemore got the win in the third heat, followed by White, Stewart, D’Antimo, Robbie Sikes, Spencer-Walt, and Tienkamp.

Tom Eckenwiller won the final qualifier ahead of Sutcliffe, Cox, Woodley, and Rainey. Robinson was unable to take the green flag due to mechanical issues while lined up on the backstretch.

The main event was all about a single young man as Ryder White put the No. 88 Honda Civic out front, and did not look back from there as he led all 25 laps en route to his first career checkered flag. Coleridge Phinnemore ran second throughout, while Michael Robinson III carved his way through the field to complete the podium. Wyatt Sutcliffe and Curtis Stewart rounded out the top-five in front of Tom Eckenwiller, Brady Cox, Kyle D’Antimo, Terry Woodley, and Robbie Sikes.

Madisson Tienkamp was 11th, while Jake Spencer-Walt only completed 11 laps due to contact with outside wall off of turn four. Eric Rainey completed the field.
