Tyler Seaboyer Weaves Through Traffic En Route to Mini Stock Victory

INNISFIL, Ontario — Despite starting mid-pack in the field, Tyler Seaboyer was able to weave his way through traffic en route to winning the Mini Stock feature on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway.

After winning one of the four qualifying heat races, Tyler Seaboyer wasted no time in moving forward as he found his way into the top-10 on Lap 3, finding his way into the top-five just three laps later. The No. 23 continued to make progress, taking the lead on Lap 14 from Charlie Smith and beginning to create a gap.

Doug Butler tried to close in on Seaboyer through the final stages of the event as they weaved through lap traffic, but was not able to make a run alongside to take the position. Tyler Seaboyer got the win with Doug Butler and Charlie Smith completing the podium.

Cameron McGlashan finished fourth after having issues in practice, with Jacob Sutcliffe rounding out the top-five after leading four laps. Jason D’Antimo placed sixth ahead of Coleridge Phinnemore, Ausytn Jennett, Bob Phinnemore, and Cole Ecker.

Wyatt Sutcliffe wound up 11th following an early race spin, followed by Kris Inglis, Madisson Tienkamp, Peter Wakeling, and Eric Rainey.

Heat victories went to Tyler Seaboyer, Jason D’Antimo (x2), and Doug Butler.
