SAUBLE BEACH, Ontario — With a change of scenery in the racing program, Cole Quinton was still able to keep the success rolling this past weekend on Saturday night.

After making the trek to Sauble Speedway to get some practice in, the decision was made by Cole Quinton and his team to stick around and participate in the races there that week.

The speed was in the No. 18 Late Model from the drop of the initial green flag, as he made his way forward in the first heat en route to a fourth. He kept the momentum rolling in the second round of qualifying, picking up a fifth.

Starting on pole for the feature, Quinton looked poised for a good run as he led the opening trio of laps. He would fall back a couple spots over the next few laps behind a pair of veterans, but did not let that waver the confidence. He learned what he could from them, crossing the finish line with a third-place finish.

Quinton has scored 10 top-10’s in 12 races this season, including four top-five’s.
