SAUBLE BEACH, Ontario — Consistently running up front on a weekly basis paid off for Nick Spiez en route to picking up the feature victory this past Saturday night at Sauble Speedway.

Richard Woodland won the first heat in front of Mike Bradley, Rob Harrison, Derek Millman, Glenn Raymond, and Fred Homewood.

Nick Spiez was victorious in the second qualifier ahead of Larry Lawson, Kayla Semple, Kevin Spiez, Russ Couture, and Jason Semple.

Mike Bradley won the third heat in front of Harrison, Raymond, Homewood, and Woodland. Millman would not take the checkered flag.

Nick Spiez went for the daily double ahead of Lawson, Kayla Semple, Kevin Spiez, Summers, and Jason Semple.

When it came time for the feature, the speed for the No. 77 carried forward as Nick Spiez found himself in the lead on the opening lap and did not look back, pacing the field the rest of the way en route to capturing the checkered flag for the win.

Rob Harrison’s consistency carried him to a runner-up, while Fred Homewood scored a career-best third-place finish. Mike Bradley and Jason Semple rounded out the top-five, followed by Kayla Semple, Kevin Spiez, and Glenn Raymond. Larry Lawson, Derek Millman, Rob Summers, and Richard Woodland failed to finish.

The next race for the Outlaw Midgets presented by Canadian Tire Innisfil is on September 9 at Full Throttle Motor Speedway.
